A neighborhood garden is checking the morning temperature. A comparison such as temperature < 8 evaluates to True or False; = assigns, while == compares. !=, >=, and <= also compare values. Combine tests with and (both), or (either), and not (reverse). Python checks if, then elif, then else, and takes only the first matching branch. The colon and four-space indentation identify each branch.
The starter already runs: 12°C prints Take a jacket. In main.py, change temperature from 12 to 4; press Run and look for Wear a coat, then press Submit to check your edit. Restore the original number if you want to explore other branches. The next lesson uses a different situation for you to build yourself.
