Format a Card with an f-String

A bookstand needs a readable price card. Put f before the opening quote and use {name} to insert a variable. {price:.2f} displays a number with two decimal places; the original number stays unchanged. This expands on the first f-string you saw in First Steps.

This is an editable worked demo. Edit main.py, press Run to compare the result, then Submit to check your small change. The next lesson transfers the idea to a different setting.

Change the card to show the price with two decimal places. Run should print Atlas: $7.50; then Submit.

Your Task

  1. Set card with an f-string displaying price to two decimal places.
