Change a Playlist

Unlike a string, a list is mutable: songs[0] = "..." replaces one item. songs.append("...") adds to the end; remove(value) removes the first matching item and pop() removes and returns the last. These methods change the original list.

This is an editable worked demo. Edit main.py, press Run to compare the result, then Submit to check your small change. The next lesson transfers the idea to a different setting.

Change the first song to Dawn, not the last one. Run should show a list beginning with Dawn; then Submit.

Your Task

  1. Replace the first item in songs with Dawn.
