Import Math: Demo

A module groups reusable Python definitions in a file. math is in Python's standard library: no installation needed. math.ceil rounds upward to a whole number. This shelf example starts with four units per shelf; change the item count in the call from 9 to 11 and Run to see three shelves. The following exercise uses a different packing problem.

  1. Change the argument passed to shelves_needed in the print call to 11.
